My Own Digipacks.

Funk Soul Classics - Ministry of Sound
This is a digipack that fits into the soul genre. The colour scheme used is very effective as the yellow and the orange emphasises the black background and white font. As there is a compilation of 3 CD's there is no use of images. The consistent use of lines and shapes are very eye catching and don't distract you from any other elements and almost create a border and structure to the pack. The design is quite simple and this works well as the font style also links with the music genre.
Epic Festival Anthems - Volume 2 - Various Artists
This is one of my favourite digipacks that I have researched to date. I love the colour scheme that is used and how simple but good quality the images are. The metallic and neutral colours work very well together and I like the realistic landscape photo for the front cover. This has a link to the album title as it is relevant to the theme of festivals. The image of the eagle is quite disjunctive but still looks effective. The layout is also quite simple yet organised which makes it more appealing to look at.
Britney Spears - My Prerogative
This digipack album by Britney Spears is also quite appealing. The colour scheme is very simple through the use of silver, black and white. But a very interesting contrast is created on one panel to highlight her past events and memories which is obviously significant to her which shows the link to the artist. The photo on the front cover stands out immediately as her pose is quite seductive so this will appeal to her target audience due to the styling used. The pocket also includes a booklet with many more photos of her in it. I think the collage aspect works very well and adds a different effect.
